Remote working

Working within the quantum field.

There has been a lot of debate within the Cranio community in relation to the idea of working remotely, and if so should it be called Craniosacral therapy?

Here in the UK we have been advised not to call it Craniosacral Therapy (CST) as it is a hands on modality and we are currently not covered by insurance to work direct with clients at this time. Therefore I will be referring to this as energy work or remote healing. Areas such as the fluid body, nervous system, inherent treatment plan, tidal rhythms and so on are able to come into awareness and perception within a remote setting.

Prior to these unprecedented times I was doing remote work (again I was not calling this CST). I found that deep healing took place as the physical body elements are removed and the clients system was often able to open up in a deeper more holistic way. My awareness and attention was still able to connect with their system and any emotional/physical trauma that was held in the body and energy field.

The HeartMaths institute has carried out some interesting studies around energetic communication https://www.heartmath.org/research/science-of-the-heart/energetic-communication/

In relation to energy work we are working in the realms of quantum physics. We are light and energy beings. Our hearts are regulated by an electrical conduction system and the ions in our cells and chemical elements are made up to conduct an electrical charge. Our brains produce small amounts of electricity and our nervous system also conducts electricity giving us an electromagnetic field around us. We are aspects of energy and we each have our own vibration, energy and vibration have their own frequency which emit a language of their own. Remote healing tunes into that frequency and works on constrictions or blockages that may present themselves as illness or dis-ease. This can be physical or emotional; which often overlap.

A great quote from a great man ahead of his time.

I have had some amazing and wonderful remote healing sessions where clients have fed back that they have found it to be deeply effective and transforming. Remote working can allow for deepening perception by the removal of the physical body! Clients have stated that they have experienced physical sensations, releases, discharges and shifts during and after a session.

Below is a scientific explanation to how this modality can work.

So whether people call it distant CST or energy/remote healing there is acknowledgement and evidence that remote healing works. The idea that the person must be physically present for deep transformational healing is not the case. We may not have our hands directly on a person but what we do have is a sense of their wholeness and how their system chooses to express and prioritise in each session.

Healing Modality

Can you heal me?

I thought I would write a little bit about Craniosacral Therapy (CST) as a healing modality. Yes it is a healing modality/therapy and in my books it is one of the most effective an deeply empowering forms of body work there is. This is due to the ability of the body’s own inherent healing capacity.

I would like to stress that it is the clients body that does its own healing, not the practitioner. I have notice that quite a few of my reviews on here and on my face book page make reference to me being a healer (and a very good one at that from all accounts!!), as flattered as I am with such wonderful statements, I feel it is important from a Craniosacral practitioners perspective that I clarify that it is not me who is healing the person on the table, I am holding a space for the persons body to be listened to, really listened to in a very unique way. The space that is held is safe, open, non judgemental and completely governed by the pace of the client. Basically this is the clients session and I am the facilitator.

On another note I would like to add that I do also have experience in energy healing, this is something that I carried out prior to my CST training. Now although when doing CST sessions I do not lend my focus to the other energy work that I do it would be unrealistic to not expect the healing knowledge held within my system to not be working in some capacity. For in truth everything is energy!

Overall the relational field between client and practitioner is key to providing that safe space for deep healing to take place and I am very happy to be able to offer that space for those willing to receive.
